For clients who wish to bid on Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, are required to deposit RMB ONE MILLION (RMB1,000,000) and obtain a shape paddle.
The shaped paddle is also valid for bidding on auction lots of other categories, except those with a
shaped mark and stamps, coins items. Clients who wish to bid on
marked lots, are required to deposit RMB FIVE MILLION (RMB5,000,000) and obtain a
paddle. The
shape paddle is also valid for bidding on all auction lots except stamps, coins items.
In the payment of any purchase made by the Buyer during the China Guardian 2013 Spring Auction, before and up to and including the 30th of May 2013, the commission of the Buyer will be charged 13.5% of the Hammer Price, and from the 31th of May and up to and including the 14th of June, the commission of the Buyer will be charged 14% of the Hammer Price. This preferential policy will terminate on the 15th June. Any deduction between the Buyer’s payment and the Seller’s payment shall not apply to this preferential policy. The Buyer may not collect the Lot without full payment.
Please note the following information regarding the sale of Rare Books and Manuscripts for China Guardian’s 2013 Spring Auctions:
1. According to the requirements stated in the "Official Authorization to Auction Cultural Relics at China Guardian's 2012 autumn Auction" issued by the Bureau of Cultural Relics (Beijing Cultural Relics [2013] no. 524), the lot 1816, 1817, 1818, 1819, 1820, 1838, 1926,1927 ,1930 , 1945 to be auctioned by An Exceptional Imperial Ceremonial Sabre and Scabbard department in China Guardian's 2013 Spring Auction is classified as a "first-class object" and is therefore subject to the "People's Republic of China Protection of Cultural Relics Law" regulation no. 58 which states that China's government organizations engaged in collecting cultural relics have preferential purchase power.
Within seven days following the auction of this object, this company will contact the relevant buyer with the government organization's decision whether or not it to exercise its power to purchase said object.
2. Please be noticed that with the consultations of China Guardian, the auction clients and the relevant institutions of the government, we agreed the withdrawal of Lot1848 to Lot1860 (a total of 13 Lots).
3. The name of LOT1917 should be ‘CHI SHAN JI’.
4. The name of LOT1982 should be ‘WU TAI SHAN JI ’.
5. Please be noticed Lot 2046 should be 40 Volumes.
