The China Guardian (HK) Chinese Ceramics and Works of Arts Department has been an unprecedented success thanks to the support of our distinguished collectors. For the upcoming 2019 Spring Auction, we will be presenting a total of two sales—“Fine Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art” and “Ancient Chinese Ceramics from the Tang to the Song Dynasty” spanning a variety of collecting categories which includes more than 400 lots. Every single relic is carefully selected by our team of specialists, ensuring its important provenance, rarity, and fine quality.

 

“Fine Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art” comprises around 300 lots of Chinese ceramics, works of arts, and scholar’s objects from the Imperial Court. The Chinese ceramics section of the sale is divided into several categories including the Jiajing and Wanli period wares, monochrome wares, as well as late Qing Dynasty wares. In addition, the works of arts section of the sale will include jades, scholar’s object from the Imperial Court, bamboo carvings and others.

 

“Ancient Chinese Ceramics from the Tang to the Song Dynasty” contains around 60 remarkable examples of ceramics wares from this period of prosperity, most of which are formerly in the collection of prominent private collectors from Japan, United States and Hong Kong.
